#11324 1/6 Daguerreotype, three handsome young men with rare plate hallmark
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of three handsome young men. A prominent and professional looking group. The plate has a rare partial hallmark which in not in Rinharts’. It was documented as #12b “ENSLIN SCHREIBER & CO.” by Sean William Nolan. Housed in a full book-style case with wear and an intact original spine. The clasp works fine, and the case closes fine.
CONDITION: the re-silvered plate is in excellent condition with a few minor wispy buffing marks from the original production process. I have resealed the plate with a new glass, Filmoplast P90-Plus and archival polyester film.
