#11326 1/2 Daguerreotype, three beautiful people
Half plate (4.25" by 5.50") daguerreotype of three beautiful people. A handsome gent and two pretty ladies, possibly brothers and sisters. Their jewelry has been gilded and some facial tinting was applied. Housed in an excellent full case with slight wear. The sides are of different design, but I believe they are original to each other; there is a very nice older leather spine repair.
CONDITION: the plate is in very good condition with some tarnish, stains and spots as seen. I have resealed the plate with a new glass, Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.
