#11335 1/4 Daguerreotype, two beautiful young girls with bottle curls
Exceptional quarter plate (3.25" by 4.25") daguerreotype of two beautiful young girls with bottle curls posed on a love seat/couch. They are probably sisters, each wearing an identical off shoulder dress. Excellent plate with the slightest of mat marks on the right center edge and there is a small tarnish spot above the eye of the girl on the right seen at different viewing angles. I have resealed the plate with a new glass, Filmoplast P90 Plus and archival polyester film. Housed in an excellent full case with an intact original spine. The case closes fine and the clasps work fine.
