#11336 1/6 Daguerreotype, very pretty young lady, pink tinted dress
Fantastic sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of a very pretty young lady all dressed up with a flowered bonnet, tinted pink dress, fancy gloves, etc. The photographer has captured her likeness in a unusually casual, almost lounging pose. Housed in an excellent full Boston-style black case (one of the best I have seen). The re-silvered plate is in excellent condition, slight tarnish. I have resealed the plate with a new glass, Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.
