#11337 1/6 Daguerreotype, young woman in a neat looking patterned dress
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of young woman in a neat looking patterned dress. The plate is in very sharp focus. She is wearing a brooch and has two rings on one hand and a ring on the finger in the book. She is also wearing what looks like a hair bracelet on each wrist. Excellent plate, slight mat marks upper right. Resealed by a previous owner with what appears to be Filmoplast P. Housed in a nice full case with little wear and an intact original spine. The clasp works fine, and the case closes fine.
