#11177 Half Plate Daguerreotype, mom, two children and doll
Half plate (4.25" by 5.50") daguerreotype of a mom holding a young child and her beautiful daughter sitting beside her. The beautiful little girl is in a slightly tinted pink dress and holding her favorite DOLL. The mother is apparently from a well-to-do family ornately dressed and wearing jewelry and open lace gloves. Housed in a full case with wear and missing material on the bottom edges. Intact spine and clasps that close tight.
CONDITION: The plate is in excellent condition, tarnish and some small spots and minor mat abrasions on the bottom. The dag was resealed with Filmoplast P90 by a previous owner.
