#11186 1/6 Daguerreotype, beautiful young woman
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of a beautiful young woman wearing fancy lace gloves. Her brooch has some light gilding. Case pad has an “R.N.KEELY 5TH & Coates St. PHILAD” imprint. Robert Keely was at that location in 1857-1859 according to “Craig's Daguerreian Registry”. Housed in a full case with a lot of wear. The hook clasps are present and function as expected. There is a leather spine repair.
CONDITION: The double silvered plate is in good condition with a lighter area off of her left shoulder. Resealed with Filmoplast P90 by a previous owner.
