#11193 1/6 Ambrotype, cute young girl standing, in yellow
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") ambrotype of a cute young girl standing on a stool. She is wearing pantaloons and her dress in nicely tinted yellow. The case pad has an “BY Walker POUGHKEEPSIE” imprint. Not sure if the case is original to the image unless Walker also made ambrotypes. Housed in a full case that is rather worn on the outer rails but does have an original spine. The hook clasp is present and functions as expected.
The plate is in excellent condition. This is a clear glass ambrotype with a dark cloth behind the image for contrast.
