#11194 1/6 Daguerreotype, artist or painter in a heavy work shirt
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of an artist or painter in a heavy work shirt which is protecting his nicer clothes underneath. He has curly hair and a small mustache. His pocket is bulging with something heavy. He has either a birthmark or paint on his forehead, this is not a flaw on the image. His shirt also has multiple darkened splotches. Housed in a nice full case to which I have applied a leather spine repair.
CONDITION: The double silvered plate is in excellent condition. The image was resealed with a new glass and Filmoplast P90 by a previous owner.
