#11213 1/4 Ambrotype, full standing Civil War soldier

Quarter plate (3.25" by 4.25") ambrotype of a full standing Civil War soldier in a great coat and slouch hat. You can see a photographer’s head stand behind his legs. A lot of gilding to his buttons and such. Housed in full case with a lot of wear and a leather spine repair.

CONDITION: The plate is in excellent condition, sealed by a well know Daguerreian conservator in 2001.
