#11215 1/4 Daguerreotype, very cute young girl with bottle curls
Quarter plate (3.25" by 4.25") daguerreotype of a very cute young girl with bottle curls. She is sitting somewhat sideways with her head turned towards the camera. She is wearing a lovely dark dress with light patterns. Housed in a nice full case with some wear and an original spine.
CONDITION: The double-silvered plate is in good condition. There are miscellaneous spots on the plate, mostly on the right and slight peripheral tarnish. One light swipe across her lower dress which didn’t show in the scan but I have included a photograph of the area. I have resealed the plate with a new glass, Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.
