#11219 1/4 Daguerreotype, four guys on a bench seat
Quarter plate (3.25" by 4.25") daguerreotype of four guys sitting on a bench seat. A rather nonchalant pose. Several of their tie pins have been gilded. Housed in a full case with a lot of wear and a leather spine repair.
CONDITION: The double-silvered plate is in good condition. There are very heavy buffing lines seen throughout the plate, some tarnish and some light mat marks. I have resealed the plate with a new glass, Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.
