#11220 1/6 Daguerreotype, a cute standing child
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of a cute standing child. The child is elaborately dressed in a plaid overcoat and cape, pantaloons, and a busy straw hat. You can see a head stand behind the child and he/she is holding a possible riding crop. Housed in a full case with wear and an original spine.
CONDITION: The plate is in near excellent condition. There are a few mat marks on the left bottom and faint ones at the top, plus a small white dot on the sleeve and near the mat on the left and one larger one in the bottom left background. I have resealed the plate with a new glass, Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.
