#11228 1/6 Ambrotype, two working men in heavy shirts
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") Ambrotype of two working men in heavy shirts and/or vests sitting in chairs. Both are wearing hats with the guy on the right in a straw hat with a ribbon hanging off one edge. He is also smoking a pipe, most likely a Civil War era white clay pipe. Facial tinting is present. Housed in a full case with some wear and an older spine repair and working clasp. This is a clear glass ambrotype with a black cloth behind it for contrast. The plate is in excellent condition.
