#11232 1/6 Daguerreotype, handsome gent wearing a tall top hat
Great sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of a handsome gent wearing a tall top hat. He is sporting a well-groomed beard and longish hair. Some flecks and specks can be seen along with some light mat marks. There is a small scuffed area upper right near the mat and a much smaller one on the lower arm on the left which are easily overlooked when viewing this handsome guy. Housed in a full case with some wear and mismatched sides but an original spine.
CONDITION: The re-silvered plate is in very good to excellent condition. I quickly cleaned the dag to remove some overall light tarnish. I resealed the packet with a new glass, Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.
