#11238 1/4 Daguerreotype, young serene woman
Quarter plate (3.25" by 4.25") Daguerreotype of a young serene woman. She is wearing a plain black dress and lace collar with her hair braided in the back. Housed in a nice full case, I have applied a leather spine repair. The case has two working hook clasps.
CONDITION: The plate is in excellent (-) condition with tarnish around the mat. The plate was resealed by a previous owner in what I believe is Filmoplast P tape and a white piece of heavy paper material.
