#11243 1/6 Daguerreotype, two men sitting close together
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") Daguerreotype of two men sitting close together with a table in between. They are both holding hats, the one on the right is a shiny wheel cap. The other is hard to see and seems to be of a black velvet type material. Housed in a nice full EICHMEYER style case with some wear and slight material loss in three places. The outside spine is split but the inside spine is still holding. The case has a working clasp.
CONDITION: The plate is in very good condition. There is some light tarnish and a tarnish stain on the right. The image was re-sealed with Filmoplast P90 by a previous owner.
