#11245 1/6 Daguerreotype, close-up of a handsome young man
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype. Excellent close-up of a handsome young man. There is a diamond shaped badge(?) or button(?) on his vest. The image was taken by Major Moulthrop of New Haven Conn. as seen by the embossed pad of the case. Housed in a nice full case, working closures and an original intact spine.
CONDITION: the re-silvered plate is in excellent condition. Resealed by a previous owner with a new glass and Filmoplast P90.
