#11258 1/6 Daguerreotype, young man with intense stare
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of a young man with a chin beard staring intently into the camera lens. He is wearing a double-breasted coat with a watch chain(?) end out of one the buttonholes. A light reflector is seen on the left. The dag is housed in a nice full case with a cloth type of spine repair.
CONDITION: the plate is in excellent condition, there is one small mark near the center right mat. I have resealed the plate with an archival spacer under the mat, a new glass, Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.
