#11263 1/6 Daguerreotype, young boy dressed in an unusual and striking outfit
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") Daguerreotype of a young boy dressed in an unusual and striking outfit. It consists of a harlequin type of jacket, a cord with tassel around his waist and an interesting hat with tassel on the table. His buttons have been gilded. Housed in a full case with wear and an original spine. The case has two hook clasps and closes tightly.
CONDITION: The plate is in very good condition; the top half of the plate has several very light wispy lines seen mostly at a non-viewing angle under a strong light. The plate was resealed by a previous owner what I believe to be clear Filmoplast P tape.
