Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of musician displaying his Flutina. Pulled from Wikipedia “The Flutina is an early precursor to the diatonic button accordion, having one or two rows of treble buttons, which are configured to have the tonic of the scale, on the "draw" of the bellows. There is usually no bass keyboard: the left hand operates an air valve.” Housed in a full worn case with an old leather spine repair.
CONDITION: the plate is in excellent condition with perimeter tarnish and some in the left background. Resealed by a previous owner.
