#11270 1/6 Daguerreotype, handsome Gold-Miner with gold miner type belt
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") Daguerreotype of a young handsome Gold-Miner wearing an Eagle medallion gold miner type belt. His fancy attire is probably newly acquired for the taking of his image. Housed in a full case with some wear. I have applied a new leather spine. The case has two hook clasps and closes tightly.
CONDITION: The plate is in good condition but with several issues as seen in the first scan. Additionally, the plate has several areas of frosting seen at non-viewing angles. I have provided photographs of the plate to show these areas. I have resealed the plate with a new glass, Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.
