#11272 earlier 1/6 Daguerreotype, teen age boy holding a hat
Earlier sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype, teen age boy holding a hat. There appears to be a curtain on the left. His cheeks and hand have been tinted. The dag is housed in a full case with wear and a leather spine repair. The clasp functions as it should and the case closes tightly.
CONDITION: the plate is in good condition. The plate was resealed by Dennis Waters in 1990 with a notation of “C. 1848”.
