Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype, young lady sitting with arm on a book on the table. She is wearing a dress with filly tassels to the short sleeves. She wearing a necklace and is wearing a ring. The note inside the case is hard to decipher. The dag is housed in a full case with wear and a leather spine repair. The clasp functions as it should and the case closes tightly.
CONDITION: the re-silvered plate is in excellent condition with some tarnish a couple little stains. The plate was resealed by a previous owner.
