#11304 1/6 Daguerreotype, man in hat with buckle or fastener on the hat ribbon

Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25”) daguerreotype, a young man wearing a hat with buckle or fastener on the hat ribbon. Housed in a nice full case and an original spine. The clasps function well and the case closes fine. Interesting paper inside the case. I have resealed the plate with Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.

CONDITION: the plate is in excellent condition with tarnish as seen
