Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of a young couple, handsome gent with a beard and his pretty wife. Slight tinting to their cheeks. There is a note inside the case “ALBION ORLEANS COUNTY NY”. Housed in a nice full case with an old leather spine repair. The clasps work fine, and the case closes fine.
CONDITION: the plate is in excellent condition. The dag was reglazed and sealed with Filmoplast P90 by a previous owner.
