#11347 1/6 Daguerreotype, absolutely beautiful young woman
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype an absolutely beautiful young woman, dressed in black with white lacy cuffs and neck piece. She is wearing a jeweled brooch. Housed in an excellent full BOSTON style pushbutton case with slight wear. The case closes tight and the clasp works fine. The scans of the dag in the case show a haze which is not on the dag but a result of the case sitting above the glass caused by the clasp. The plate is in excellent condition with a few white dots which are on the plate. I have resealed the plate with Filmoplast P90-plus and archival polyester film.
