Quarter-plate (3.25” X 4.25”) daguerreotype of a gent with a high collar, long brushed back hair and fancy vest. He is holding a walking stick next to the slightly tinted table cloth. Housed in a full push-button case with a leather spine repair. The plate is in very good condition with a lighter area to the bottom right quadrant. Resealed by a previous owner.
