#11356 1/6 Daguerreotype, well-dressed young handsome gentleman
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of a well-dressed young handsome gentleman. Four spots showing on his heavy coat and one dark one in the upper left background. Housed in a full case with slight wear, I have applied a leather spine repair. The case closes tight and both clasps are present and function as expected. The plate is in excellent condition except for the spots seen. I have resealed the plate with Filmoplast P90-plus and archival polyester film.
