#11290 1/6 Daguerreotype, three well-dressed young men
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") Daguerreotype of three well-dressed young men. A striking pose of male friendship. The image retains its original seal. Most of the specks and flecks are on the underside of the glass. The image would benefit from a new glass and reseal; I will reseal the image if the buyer so chooses. Housed in a full black Boston style push-button case with some wear. The closure works fine, and the case closes fine.
CONDITION: the plate is in excellent condition with tarnish as seen.
