#P0905 1/6 Daguerreotype, two young blondies, brother and sister
Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of two young blondies, brother and sister. The tarnish and Daguerreian frosting showing was greatly enhanced during the scanning process. The dag shows much better in hand. Housed in a full case with some wear and an original spine. The case is not original to the image; it came to me in a very rough half case with their names written on the inside along with a date of MAY 1855. The half case will be sent also.
CONDITION: the re-silvered plate is in very good condition. I have resealed the plate with Filmoplast P90 and archival polyester film.
